“I created all this back story which is useless for anyone but me. There’s no dialogue in this show to explain why I have twelve tattoos all over my body, or why I’m angry, but as long as I know why that’s fine. I’ve got my made up stories from this kid’s childhood and stories involving his father and mother which help me connect the dots from song to song in the show. But he is angry at the world, he is angry at himself, and he’s angry at the time that he has wasted. He’s angry at the crappy little town that he’s stuck in.”
